A Fire Report is generally required for most Commercial / Industrial and Multi 
Residential building projects. They can also be required in certain cases for domestic housing where a "Means of Escape" becomes critical. Two such situations are;
- Buildings close to boundarys
- Larger Dwellings
Ashby Consulting Engineering provide fire reports based on Acceptable Solution C/AS1 of the Compliance Document for the New Zealand Building Code, for domestic, residential, commercial and industrial buildings up to Fire Hazard Category 3.
We also design Fire Walls! Ranging from simple Gypsum board on light timber framed construction through to cantilevered Reinforced Concrete Tilt Slabs, or Reinforced Masonry construction.
